El Temple is nestled on the border between the provinces of Zaragoza and Huesca, in the northern area of the Ebro valley.

The village features a newer layout, designed by the Spanish National Institute of Colonization and inaugurated in 1953.

The Parish Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción is located in the center of the village and occupies a prominent spot in the main square.

As in other villages created during the Franco regime, El Temple is surrounded by a broad and lush pine forest.

The village’s major annual festival is celebrated on August 15th, and the Spring Festival is held in May.
