In this area you will be able to observe the bird-life in:

The Alboré Reservoir, next to La Sotonera Dam which you reach from Montmesa, close to the town of Ortilla. There is a path or track going down to the Reservoir, which leaves the village and is sign-boarded.

Before you reach the Reservoir there is a bird observatory.In the village of Montmesa you can visit the Bird Interpretation Centre.

The southern part of La Hoya de Huesca also has protected bird reserves, around Piracés and Tramaced, on the A-131 road, turning off at Sesa between Novales and Albero Alto.

 ACCES:  On the A-1212 road between Huesca and Vicién or otherwise from the village, several tracks leave beside the Cinca canal which will take you to the Dam.
